Pokémon Legends: Z-A Pokédex

One of the three starter Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Z-A. Chikorita uses the leaf on its head to sense temperature and humidity — a perfect companion for exploring the redeveloped districts of Lumiose City. Its gentle nature makes it the calmest starter, while its early-game Grass attacks handle the Fire-type wild Pokémon of Savanna District with ease.

The evolved form of Chikorita. Bayleef's leaf emits a soothing aroma that calms aggressive feelings — a useful asset when wandering into the more chaotic wild zones around Lumiose City. Its attacks gain real bite from the Toxic, Poison and Grass coverage of mid-game.

The fully evolved Grass starter of Z-A. Meganium's flower releases an aroma that can restore vitality in battle, and its Mega form — Meganium (Mega) — adds the Fairy type, gaining a new 4x Poison weakness but a much stronger offensive presence with Bloom Doom and Fairy coverage.

A starter Pokémon from Unova making its Legends debut in Z-A. Tepig's inner fire flares when it is excited. Its Fire typing steamrolls the early Grass and Bug wild Pokémon around Lumiose City's Savanna District.

Feraligatr's jaws can crush boulders, and in Z-A it awakens a Dragon lineage through Mega Evolution — Feraligatr (Mega) becomes Water/Dragon, shedding its Electric weakness for a neutral match-up and gaining Dragon STAB with Aqua Tail + Dragon Claw coverage.

The iconic Electric mouse Pokémon thrives in the redeveloped parks of Plaza District. In Z-A, Pikachu can evolve into Raichu — or into Raichu (Mega) with its exclusive new Mega forms, Raichu (Mega X) and Raichu (Mega Y).

Raichu's long tail channels powerful electric currents. In Z-A it gains not one but two Mega Evolutions: Raichu (Mega X) and Raichu (Mega Y), each with distinct stats and coverage — the flagship Mega Dimension Pokémon of the game's main visual.

The Evolution Pokémon with the most branching forms. In Z-A, Eevee can be found in the quieter alleys of Elysia District, and its partner Sylveon (Fairy) is a top pick against the Dragon-type threats of the late game.

The Fairy-type Eeveelution. Sylveon's ribbons wrap around allies to soothe them, and its Pixilate ability turns Normal moves into Fairy attacks. A premier counter to Z-A's Dragon-heavy endgame and Mega Garchomp.

A haunted Steel/Ghost sword that drains the life force of anyone who grips it. Honedge lurks in the old mansions and historical ruins of Penthouse District, guarding the city's secrets since the AZ war.

The royal sword of Kalos returns in Z-A. Aegislash shifts between Shield Forme (towering defenses) and Blade Forme (all-out offense) with King's Shield. Its Steel/Ghost typing gives it nine resistances and three immunities — one of the best defensive cores in the Z-A meta.

The moonlit fairy of Lumiose. Clefairy dances under the moonlight in Plaza District's gardens. In Z-A its evolution Clefable receives a brand new Fairy/Flying Mega Evolution — Clefable (Mega) — cementing the line's role as a premier special wall.

The carnivorous vine Pokémon of Kanto returns in Z-A. Victreebel's mouth drips with a dissolving fluid that attracts prey with a sweet scent. Its new Z-A Mega form — Victreebel (Mega) — keeps Grass/Poison with a striking Speed and Attack boost.

The mysterious Water/Psychic starfish that uses its red core to communicate telepathically. Starmie's new Z-A Mega form — Starmie (Mega) — cranks its already elite Speed and Special Attack even higher, making it a premier special sweeper.

The electrifying lamprey of the Lumiose underground. Eelektross is the only Pokémon with no type weaknesses thanks to Levitate — and its Z-A Mega form, Eelektross (Mega), keeps that immunity while gaining raw power for the Mega Dimension.

The antlion trap of the canyon. Trapinch digs cone-shaped pits in the sand to ambush prey, waiting with astonishing patience. It evolves into the mighty Ground/Dragon Flygon — one of Z-A's most beloved dragon lines.

The intermediate Ground/Dragon stage. Vibrava's wings create ultrasonic vibrations that cause headaches in nearby humans. A quick bridge to the fan-favorite Flygon.

The desert spirit dragon. Flygon's wings kick up sandstorms as it flies, and its melodic cries are said to lull people to sleep. As a Ground/Dragon it shrugs off Electric and Rock attacks while hitting most of Z-A's roster for neutral damage.

The Steel/Psychic iron ball from Hoenn. Beldum's cells are magnets that repel each other, keeping it floating. It evolves into the iconic Metagross — a pseudo-legendary anchor of Z-A's late-game teams.

The ice sprite that gathers in snowy places. Snorunt lives on Lumiose City's high terraces where the winter winds bite. It evolves into Glalie — whose Z-A Mega form turns it into a glass cannon of Ice-type devastation.

The face mask Pokémon with a core of pure ice. Glalie's Z-A Mega form, Glalie (Mega), amplifies its Refrigerate ability — every Normal move becomes an Ice-type nuke with 1.2x power, making Return-boosted Ice attacks hit terrifyingly hard.

The disaster Pokémon appears before calamities. In Z-A, Absol roams the cliffs above Savanna District, sensing the Mega Dimension disruptions before anyone else. Its Z-A exclusive Mega form, Absol (Mega Z), sharpens its dark blades to new extremes.

The deceptive jaws Pokémon. Mawile's steel horns disguise a crushing second mouth. Its Steel/Fairy typing and Huge Power ability made Mega Mawile the terror of competitive Pokémon — a legacy that continues in Z-A.

The light Pokémon of Kalos's Electric gym circuit. Ampharos's tail glows bright enough to guide ships at sea. Its Z-A Mega form, Ampharos (Mega), gains the Dragon type — a beloved twist that makes it a unique Electric/Dragon attacker.

The single-horn beetle with the strongest throwing power of any Pokémon. Heracross's Megahorn can lift and toss boulders. Its Z-A Mega form returns with Skill Link, turning multi-hit moves into devastating combos.

The dragon that circumnavigates the globe in 16 hours. Dragonite's gentle heart makes it rescue drowning sailors. In Z-A, its long-awaited Mega Evolution — Dragonite (Mega) — finally arrives, making it a premier physical Dragon with Multiscale.

The atrocious Pokémon that evolves from the docile Magikarp. Gyarados's rage burns as bright as its scales. Its Z-A Mega form, Gyarados (Mega), gains the Dark type with Mold Breaker — a feared Water/Dark wallbreaker.

Mega Meganium is one of the marquee new Mega Evolutions of Z-A. Its Grass/Fairy typing — the first type change among the starter Megas — gives it a devastating Fairy presence and immense special bulk, turning the gentle starter into a defensive titan of the Mega Dimension.

Mega Emboar keeps its Fire/Fighting identity but supercharges its physical offense. With boosted Attack and Speed, it becomes the heaviest-hitting starter Mega of Z-A — Flare Blitz and Superpower will crack through most of the Mega Dimension roster.

Mega Feraligatr is the most hyped starter Mega of Z-A: it changes type to Water/Dragon, gaining Dragon STAB and shedding its Electric weakness. With Dragon Dance access and boosted Attack, it is a top-tier setup sweeper in the Z-A meta.

Raichu (Mega X) is one of two brand new Raichu Mega forms in Z-A, featured in the Mega Dimension main visual. The X variant leans physical with a bulkier profile, keeping its Electric typing while hitting harder with Wild Charge and Brick Break coverage.

Garchomp (Mega Z) is Z-A's exclusive Z-aura Mega form of the land shark pseudo-legendary. It becomes pure Dragon type — losing the Ground typing — and gains towering Attack and bulk at the cost of Speed. A fearsome wallbreaker with Rough Skin.

Lucario (Mega Z) is Z-A's exclusive Z-aura Mega form of the iconic aura Pokémon. It keeps Fighting/Steel with an even more aggressive stat spread — the fastest Mega Fighting type in the game, able to outrun most of the Mega Dimension roster before landing Aura Sphere.

Zeraora (Mega) is the new star of Z-A's Mega Dimension DLC, introduced alongside the promotional 'Super Zeraora' reveal. With sky-high Speed and boosted Attack, it is one of the fastest Mega Evolutions in the franchise — a relentless physical sweeper with Plasma Fists.

Mewtwo (Mega Y) returns in Z-A as the ultimate special attacker. Its base 194 Special Attack is the highest in the entire franchise, and with Insomnia it shrugs off sleep. A single Psystrike will erase most of the Z-A roster.

Diancie (Mega) is the radiant crown jewel of Z-A's EX side quests. Its Rock/Fairy typing and Magic Guard make it a fearsome offensive presence — Diamond Storm raises its own Defense while smashing through Dragon and Fire types alike.

Clefable (Mega) is a new Fairy/Flying Mega Evolution in Z-A. The Fairy/Flying typing gives it key immunities and resistances while keeping Clefable's signature Unaware-style walling — a defensive pivot that shrugs off setup sweepers and lands Moonblast after Moonblast.

Victreebel (Mega) is a new Grass/Poison Mega in Z-A with a dramatic Attack and Speed boost. With Chlorophyll under sun, it becomes one of the fastest Grass sweepers in the game — Solar Beam and Gunk Shot hit most of the meta for massive damage.

Starmie (Mega) is a new Water/Psychic Mega in Z-A that pushes its Speed and Special Attack to elite levels. With Analytic and Rapid Spin, it becomes the premier offensive utility spinner — Ice Beam, Thunderbolt and Surf cover nearly the entire roster.

Eelektross (Mega) is a new Electric Mega in Z-A that keeps the line's signature Levitate immunity — meaning it still has zero type weaknesses. With boosted Attack and bulk, it becomes an unkillable pivot with Wild Charge and Drain Punch.

Pyroar (Mega) is a new Fire/Normal Mega in Z-A with boosted Speed and Special Attack. Its Intimidate ability and Hyper Voice STAB make it a fast special sweeper that also breaks physical attackers' momentum — a lion that roars through the Mega Dimension.

Zygarde (Mega) is among the most powerful Mega Evolutions in Z-A. Keeping its Dragon/Ground typing and Aura Break, its defenses reach pseudo-legendary levels while Thousand Arrows continues to ground and crush Flying-types. The ultimate order guardian of the Mega Dimension.
